Article Template eMail (Text) displays only the pure text of an article without design. Article templates are stored in the Templates folder in the Article Templates subfolder. These article templates can be placed in eMail templates (TEXT) via slots ''{SLOT_x}''. An article template eMail (text) must be present in a mailing. Some newsletter recipients suppress the output of HTML eMails in their eMail client. In order to continue sending information to these recipients, it is necessary to provide a text template.
In the preview you can see which content from the articles will be displayed.
The text template draws the necessary data with the replacement variables and displays only the plain text without formatting.
Within the text editor you can easily insert the existing replacement variables into the template by using the drop-down menu.
Under the item Image preview you can insert a sample image. With this image the presentation of the article in the list view can be shown.
