The object "Voucher codes" allows the administration of individual coupon/voucher codes. These codes can be used, for example, to grant a discount in a shop. New codes can be generated as well as existing codes can be imported to assign them to profiles if required.
The obekt "Voucher codes" can be created in the folder "Templates/Miscellaneous", in the folder "Templates" and in each individually created folder.
Assignment
Output
The output of a coupon code can be specified exclusively via TAL in article/newsletter and LeadPage templates. A predefined TAL code for the output/assignment of a code can be found in the "Integration" tab of the respective coupon code object. The example only outputs a code if it is displayed by a real profile (not Max-Mustermann).
Validity
For each voucher code list, a validity date can be defined until which the codes are active and can be assigned. Once the validity date has expired, no new codes are assigned. The validity date of a list always applies to all codes in the list.
Configuration
Via the voucher code configuration, new codes can be added manually or generated automatically. In the manual way several codes can be entered and added separated by line breaks. The maximum length of a code is: 36 characters.
With automatic code generation, a certain number of unique codes are generated according to the UUID scheme.
Codes Delete
Voucher codes can be marked and removed individually via the code list, or all codes can be marked and removed simultaneously via the configuration. The deletion cannot be restored and the codes as well as the profile allocation are permanently deleted. (This can be useful, for example, when a test phase is transferred to production operation).
