A WebTouchPoint is created in the Tracking folder with a click on + New/WebTouchPoint. The WebTouchPoint allows you to track how often your page has been opened by the profiles you know.
With a WebTouchPoint, website visits can be tracked and scoring points can be assigned for each website visit.
Configuration
Under the Configuration tab, you can enter a name for the WebTouchPoint and select tracking options. Select "Auto. Enable Web page attachment", if necessary, you can enable pseudonymised tracking, and insert the tracking code from the Integration tab into your Web page. Now the tracked web page will automatically appear in the statistics when the page is accessed for the first time. (ATTENTION: If the tracked website has many users, the operation of the WebTouchPoint can be slowed down considerably with pseudonymised tracking).
Place a check mark under the navigation tab Configuration at Auto. Activate Web page attachment and activate pseudonymised Tracking to be able to register Web page calls.
Integration
Under the Integration tab, copy the tracking code for the website and paste this code into your website. After the website with the tracking code is called for the first time, all openings can be registered and displayed in the statistics.
Copy the tracking code and insert the code on the website you want to track.
Scoring with WebTouchPoint
An individual scoring value can be assigned for each added website. This allows websites outside the system to be included in a scoring evaluation.
To assign a scoring value to a Web page visit, click Edit. You can then assign scoring points for a Web page call.
Note!
WebTouchPoints require both activated JavaScript and the right to set cookies to function correctly. Furthermore, with WebTouchPoints, please note that the same domain must be used in the Integration tab. The cookie can only be read if it comes from the same domain.
Statistics
The statistics tab provides a current overview of the activities of the last month. Here you can see how often the page was called up and with which browsers the page was viewed. Under the item Evaluation you can see how often your page was called. The values in brackets are calls that can be uniquely assigned to a viewer (by cookie). In the pie chart below, you can see which browsers were used to access the website. To remove the statistical data again, click on Delete below the pie chart.
The statistics show you all page impressions of the last month and with which browser the page was accessed.
