The "Website" starting point automatically imports profiles that have accessed a selected web page with an integrated WebTouchPoint.
If a profile has a tracking opt-out, it cannot fall into a campaign with a website start point.
Configuration
In order to use the starting point, the website to be used for it must be able to recognize the visitors (profiles in Evalanche). This is done either by cookies or by redirecting the website visitor from a personalized mailing and passing the profile's UID to the website.
First create a WebTouchPoint and integrate the Java sctipt of the WebTouchPoint on the web page that is to serve as the starting point.
Activate "Enable automatic attachment" to have the Java script executed on the web page. This will display the collected data of all web pages in which the WebTouchPoint is integrated under the tab Statistics of the WebTouchPoint.
Deactivate "anonymous tracking" to show only data of known profiles in the statistics of the WebTouchPoint.
For more information, see the WebTouchPoint article.
A multiple run is optionally possible for this starting point and can be activated with the "Multipass" checkbox.
If possible, use a separate WebTouchPoint for each web page that you want to use as a starting point for a campaign in order to record the statistical data cleanly and separately. In exceptional cases, if the web pages deal with the same topic, you can have several web pages tracked with one WebTouchPoint.
Under the point Website you insert the WebTouchPoint you want to use. Under the point web page you can select the web page which should serve as starting point, if the WebTouchPoint is used in several web pages. In addition, you can also allow a multiple run of the profiles.
In the settings of the start point website you can specify a WebTouchPoint and the website you want to use for the campaign start.
