With the help of the rollout function, global e-mailings and their contents can be copied to any number of clients. Please note that the e-mailings to be copied and all elements linked to them (template, container, article, etc.) must be on a global level.
A rollout from one client to other clients is not possible. How the rollout of e-mailings in clients works and which settings must be made for this is explained in the following.
Rollout of eMailings
The rollout function is available in all e-mailing objects, including
Preparations
First, the rollout function must be activated within the e-mailing template for e-mailings. On the one hand, the activation represents a protection mechanism, on the other hand, it allows you to define granularly for which mailings the function should be available. To allow the rollout functions in e-mailings, the checkbox "Allow rollout" under the navigation point "Rollout" in the e-mailing template must be activated. By default, you can also specify which contents of an e-mailing are to be copied and into which clients and folders the e-mailing is to be rolled out.
Rolling out eMailing in clients
If you are now in an e-mailing whose template allows the rollout, the navigation point "Rollout" is available in the e-mailing object. If settings for rollout have been made in the e-mailing template, they are already preset here. These settings can be adjusted and extended individually for each e-mailing. Once all settings have been made, the e-mail can be rolled out to the defined clients and folders. The rollout process is initiated by clicking on the "Rollout" button.
The duration of the rollout can vary depending on the scope of the e-mailing and the clients involved. As soon as the rollout is completed, the user who initiated the rollout is informed of the status by e-mail.
