The system offers the possibility to collect a variety of data and to output it again for statistical evaluations. With this data, you can, for example, get an overview of the popularity of your sent articles by displaying the clicks on the individual articles of a newsletter. Entries in forms or landing page visits can also be displayed over a freely definable period of time. The following objects are available to read out this data and compare it with each other.
A report is used to compare the statistical data collected by the system from different objects. You can compile and display any number of objects in a report.
The following objects can be compared:
- Pools
- Pool Data Miner
- Target groups
- eMailings
- Split campaigns
- Event mailings
- Forms
- Lead pages
- Funnels
- Trigger mailings
- Smart links
Report Funnel
With the Funnel report you can compare the quantity of profiles in different target groups. The relation of the profiles in the individual target groups to each other is graphically displayed in a funnel.
You can compare this with the funnel:
- Number of profiles in one or more target groups
- Number of profiles in the pool
Pool Data Miner
The Pool Data Miner is used to quantitatively evaluate the profile fields listed below. Several fields can be queried hierarchically for more complex queries.
- Single and multiple selection fields
- Number fields
- eMail address with domain
- Date entries
You can compare this with the Pool Data Miner:
- Quantitative distribution of options from fields

- Multiple click rate: Proportion of recipients who clicked on any link in the mailing more than once.
- Relative multiple click rate: Proportion of recipients who have opened the direct mailing more than once and clicked on any link in the direct mailing more than once.
Please note!
The first values are the sum of all clicks in percent. The values in brackets are values that can be assigned to uniquely identified recipients.
Report Media
In the media section you can see in which display formats a newsletter, form or lead page was displayed.
Clicks: Shows how often the various display formats were clicked on in the eMail.
Click rate: Shows the percentage of recipients who clicked at least once on a display format in the eMail.
Relative click rate: Shows the percentage of recipients who have opened the eMail and clicked a display format in the eMail at least once.
The display formats clicked on in the eMail are shown here as percentages and in clicks (clearly).
Report Article
Here you can see the articles and their display formats that were clicked in connection with the article, e.g. article detail page (landing page), PDF version of the article, etc. In the bar display, you can see at a glance which article in the newsletter had the most clicks. The bars also show in which formats the article was issued. The listed articles are broken down by display format, how they were displayed to the recipient, and how often an article was shared in the social media. Ranking stars are assigned to an article depending on its popularity. The most popular articles are awarded 5 stars, less popular articles correspondingly fewer stars. For each article the outgoing links are listed and how often the link was clicked.
How often an article or a link in the corresponding article has been clicked is shown in an overview.
- Calls are displayed when you move the mouse pointer over the bar
- Ranking of articles compared to other articles in the newsletter
Report Social Sharing
In the Social section, you can see the articles that were shared on social networks by the recipients, and how often these articles were accessed again on the networks.
In which networks an article was shared is shown as a pie chart for a better overview. Details of how often a shared article has been accessed in a network are displayed in a table.
Report Links
Link tracking of all external links that were clicked on in the eMail (e.g. a link to an external homepage).
Clicks: Shows the number of times this external link was clicked in the eMail.
Click rate: Percentage of recipients who clicked this external link at least once in the eMail.
Relative click rate: Percentage of recipients who have opened the e-mail at least once and clicked this external link in the eMail at least once.
If a link in your mailing is clicked, this click is recorded in the evaluation. In this way you can find out what your recipients are interested in.
Report profiles
Addressees: Sum of all recipients in the target group.
Duplicates: Number of duplicate entries (uniqueness criterion eMail address).
Blacklist: Recipient blacklist at customer level.
Robinson lists: Recipients blacklist on country level, RTR list for Austria, Robinson list DDV.
Current hardbounces: eMails that could not be delivered, e.g. due to an incorrect e-mail address.
Current softbounces: eMails that could not be delivered, e.g. due to a full mailbox (temp. error cause).
Recipients: All profiles that have received the newsletter.
Unsubscriptions: Recipients who have unsubscribed from the distribution list for the object under consideration (e.g. newsletter).
Under the Profiles area, you can see the total number of recipients to whom you have sent the mailing and how many recipients have unsubscribed from your recipient list via this mailing.
Report Domains
The Domains section shows the distribution of domains to which the newsletter has been sent, as well as cancellations and soft/hardbounces.
The list view shows the percentage of recipients (in brackets the unique recipients), broken down by domain, as well as the unsubscriptions and bounces that took place via this dispatch.
Report end devices
You can see with which devices your newsletter was opened in the end devices section. Here the devices are divided into mobile phone, tablet and others.
The value other represents the share of mostly desktop computers. Which browsers and mail programs were used to open the newsletter can also be read here. From this, you can draw conclusions about the possible buying or information behaviour of your recipients.
In this section you can see which end devices and which browser your recipients use.
Report industry comparison
Under the navigation tab Statistics you will find a comparison of your data with the industry average. The industry sector type of the account is determined when you create a client.
Here it is visualized how the sent newsletter was opened and clicked in comparison to the industry sector average.
Important!
There is no guarantee for correctness, completeness and topicality of the comparative data. All campaigns of the last year of all customers from the respective industry sector are considered as basis for assessment. The industry type of the account is determined when the client is created. The evaluation of the industry comparison is made anonymously, i.e. information about the companies themselves is not displayed.
Report Map
Geographic distribution of the profiles. The geographical representation of where the profiles are located on the map is taken from the address data of the profiles, when this data is available. If no address data is available, the location of the IP address of the logon using which the profile was entered in a form is determined.
If the recipients' addresses are stored in the profiles, you can see on the map where your newsletters were opened.
Report Clickmap
The click map highlights the links used in the eMail and shows how often the recipients clicked on these links. These statistics are not available for text eMailings.
In the clickmap you can get a quick impression which links of your newsletter were clicked on. This is very helpful to find out whether an article is interesting for the recipients or not.
Important!
In contrast to the complete mailing, the numbers in the clickmap are only an approximation to the numbers in the link, article or mailing statistics.
Report Conversion Tracking
If products or services are offered in a mailing and purchased by the recipient, this conversion can be measured. Here you can see which conversion the recipients of the mailing have generated. The prerequisite for this is that conversion tracking is activated.
If products are offered for sale in a mailing, this purchase can be directly tracked and evaluated via conversion tracking.
Report Configuration
Under the navigation tab Configuration, you can put together the report individually. Here you can configure the time period, the objects to be checked, and the statistic elements of the objects to be evaluated.
Under the navigation tab Configuration the report can be configured with all statistical elements. Individual elements can be shown or hidden for an individual view.
- Statistic elements to be displayed in the report for this object.
- With a click on + new objects can be added to the report.
- Clicking on - removes the object from the report.
- With the handles the order of the objects in the report can be changed by touching and dragging.
- Checkbox to display the object in the report.
- Checkbox to show or hide graphics.
- Checkbox to display the object in the comparison table, clicks and openings are compared.
Report display
In order to give your report an individual appearance including additional information, you can add a title image, a headline and an introduction. You can also style the report using optional CSS.
- Select a title image for your report here. It must first be uploaded into the system.
- Text for a headline.
- In this field you can enter an introducing text for your report.
- To adapt your report to an existing appearance, you can specify CSS statements in this area.
Report Integration
The report can be accessed via an external URL. For reasons of data security, however, a login is required when the external URL is called.
The report can be called up via the integration link.
Report Funnel
The funnel is used, for example, to represent a buyer's journey of profiles and to compare the different phase target groups with each other. Depending on how many profiles are in a target group, the segment size (level) of the target group is displayed proportionally in the funnel. The size of different levels depends on the number of profiles in their target group. This is used for graphical comparison of profiles in several target groups. Please note that a profile can be located in several target groups.
This can be used, for example, to display the ratio of different answers in a survey. Depending on how the target groups are configured, they can be compared according to interests or characteristics.
For example, you want to know how many profiles are in your target groups "website visitors", "leads", and "customers". To do this, you create three target groups with the relevant criteria. Then add these three target groups to the funnel and click on Save. You will then see the percentage distribution of the respective profiles. The order of the layers is influenced by the order in which the layers were added to the funnel.
Create Report funnel
You create a funnel in the Reports folder by clicking on "New" and selecting the "Report funnel" object.
Configure Report funnel
The level sorting of the funnel is based on the order in which they were added to the funnel.
- Name for the report funnel
- Add layer
- Name for the level
- Remove layer
- Create new target group
- Select target group
- Edit target group
Funnel Preview
The funnel visualization shows in which part of the customer journey the profiles are located.
Report Pool Data Miner
A pool data miner is created in the Reports folder. With a pool data miner, the sum of all values from a pool data field is queried and displayed as a pie chart and bar chart.
You create a Pool Data Miner in the Reports folder by clicking on "+ New" and select Pool Data Miner.
In our example, the values from the industry field (multiple selection field) are queried and thus the system displays how often the different values are available in the pool. It is possible to query the value distribution within the entire pool or the value distribution within a target group.
In addition to a simple query, you can nest a query. This means that two or more fields are queried. In our example, the field industry is queried first and the field salutation is queried additionally. Please note the order in the configuration.
This way you get the values in two levels. In the first view, you see the distribution of values in the industry field. If you click on the Services pie segment, the values from the profiles that have the value Service are now displayed and the distributed values from the field Form of Address, in this case the distribution of Mr., Mrs. and Company.
The following field types are supported:
- Single and multiple selection fields
- Number fields
- eMail address with domain
- Date entries
Report Pool Data Miner Preview
The pool data miner represents the distribution of values from one or more data fields.
- Nested values
- Sum of the profiles with the entry Services
Report Pool Data Miner Configuration
One or more fields for a query can be entered under Configuration.
- Enter name for the pool data miner
- Enter pool for the query
- Select the first field for query
- Remove field from Pool Data Miner
- Enter nested field for the query
- Adding a Field for a Nested Query
- Enter a target group for the query
- Create a new target group
The Reporting API
In addition to the SOAP interface, this API offers the possibility of obtaining statistical, tracking and scoring data. This data can be integrated, evaluated and visualized in business Intelligence solutions and dashboards, for example. For further information please refer to our help page.
