A new LeadPage is created in the Web folder by clicking on +New / LeadPage.
A new LeadPage is usually created in the Web folder.
A LeadPage is used to display content (for example, articles, news, product information, and so on) on a website or as a landing page for address generation. The LeadPage is created using an appropriate LeadPage template with matching article templates and a list of articles. Corresponding to an eMail, the LeadPage has different display formats such as PDF or RSS/Atom feeds. It offers an easy way to dynamically integrate articles on a website even without a content management system. In addition to a presentation independent of the eMailings, you can use the LeadPage to build up an archive of articles of sent newsletters. The configuration of the LeadPage is identical to the maintenance of the content of an eMailings in the extended and visual editor. The articles are inserted in the slot provided for this purpose in the LeadPage. The slot for displaying the articles can be configured with a separate article template for each media.
Visual editor
In the visual editor you can insert articles directly in the view of the LeadPage or maintain the contents of the text fields at the point where they are displayed in the LeadPage. Forms can be integrated directly into a text area of the LeadPage with the replacement variable {$RENDER_FORM:FORMULARID} or {$FORM_RENDER_UNPERSONALIZED:FORMULARID} (for unpersonalized forms) can be integrated directly into a textarea of the LeadPage (Please make sure that the checkbox Set Action Parameters is checked under the Configuration tab of the form used). The system displays all articles with a help menu, so you can move, delete and edit the article - directly in the slot where it is displayed. In each slot you can insert as many articles as you like and change their order in the slot. Additionally you can specify a target group for each article. These articles will only be displayed to a recipient if he or she is in this target group. You can use this type of individualization, for example, to include additional information in your LeadPage that should only be visible to a specific target group. (see individualization for articles). Articles can be moved within a slot or between slots using drag and drop. If you move an article between two slots, the article is automatically adapted to the standard article template of the new slot. In addition, article images can be easily replaced with new images via drag & drop.

Slot configuration
To the right of the slot name (11) is a gear symbol. This allows an automatic sorting of the articles.
There are four types of article sorting in a slot:
- Manual: Articles are displayed as they are in the newsletter.
- Automatic (A): Articles are sorted in descending order based on the calculated profiling relevance.
- Autom. Top-X (A-X): Sorting as Automatic, but only as many articles are displayed as entered in the appearing input field.
- Autom. positive (A-P): Sorting as Automatic, but only those articles are displayed for which the relevance calculation results in a positive total.

Advanced editor
Under the tab Contents all articles are listed in their slots. In this list view you can edit and manage the articles. For each article you can subsequently assign an own article template different from the standard template or specify a special target group.
To give an article its own article template, uncheck the checkbox Standard Templates. This opens an overview of the article templates that can be used. Select the required template and the article is displayed in the LeadPage with this new template.
To assign a special target group, click on the object picker "For all profiles". A list of all available target groups will open, sorted by modification date. Select the desired target group and the article will only be displayed to profiles from this target group.
The advanced editor also offers a possibility to edit the text fields used in the template directly. You will find the input fields for this in the lower area. These fields can only be used if these fields are addressed by the template.
- Name of the inserted article and possibility to edit the article or insert a new article.
- Target group for the article, so that the article only can be displayed to profiles of a specific target group.
- Selection for alternative article templates, different from the standard template.
- Input, text and HTML fields for further entries in the LeadPage, provided these fields are used in the template.
Configuration
Under the tab Configuration you can see the name of the LeadPage and the LeadPage template used. By clicking on the name of the template it opens in a new tab/window and can be edited if necessary. For a description of the LeadPage you can enter explanatory text. In addition, you can specify a separate target group for an individualized preview. Profiles from this target group can then be used to simulate the individualized preview. You can insert an image for an RSS/ATOM feed under Feed Image.
In the configuration you have the possibility to insert a target group for an individual preview.
Scoring
Under the Scoring tab, you can specify your own scoring values for LeadPage openings and LeadPage clicks that differ from the default configuration.
To specify your own values for scoring, check the box Activate individual configuration and enter your values.
Integration
Here you will receive, among other things, the direct URL to the LeadPage and some other display variants, e.g: LeadPage in the iFrame, as well as the URLs to the RSS and Atom Feeds. To call up a LeadPage and query the current geocoordinates of the client and save them temporarily in the profile, there is a URL with extended parameters.
The following parameters can be used:
f=28: Makes sure that the geo coordinates are collected first and then switches to the regular view (f=7).
vp=3600: Specifies for how many seconds the current coordinates should be stored (default is 3600 seconds).
lat=XX: Latitude for manual input of coordinates.
lon=XX: Longitude for manual input of coordinates.
Under the tab Integration you can see the code snippets for the different media types.
Important!
The automatic recognition of the geo-coordinates depends on the settings of the client browser and, if applicable, the operating system.
Check
Under the tab Check you will find various ways to check the functionality of the LeadPage.
Preview
This allows you to check different output formats. An option is listed in the preview for each type of LeadPage output (HTML, Landingpage, PDF, RSS/Atom Feed). If you have specified a target group for individualization in the configuration of the LeadPage, you can also choose an individualized view of the profiles.
You can select the different output formats of the LeadPage and, if necessary, the test profiles for an individual view in the marked area.
Customization
The Customization tab shows the display of individualized and personalized variables for the target group set here.
You can select a suitable target group in the configuration and save the object. The profiles of the target group then appear for selection for an individualized preview.
If no target group is selected, the defined personas are offered for each pool. By clicking on "Preview" at a profile of the target group, the LeadPage is adjusted to the data of the profile concerned - e.g. individualized articles, etc. This allows you to check the individualizations and personalizations.
By clicking on preview you can view the individualized view of the newsletter.
Eye tracking
Eye tracking provides an overview of the probable course of the visitor's gaze. Four types of view are available, heat map, gauze plot, opacity, areas of interest. Four screen resolutions can be additionally selected for a simulation. If you have run a test, this test is saved under the tab History and can be recalled later. Please note that there are additional costs for this check.

Text analysis
The text analysis is used to evaluate the content of the LeadPage for comprehensibility. This check is only available for German-language content and additional costs are incurred.
The German text analysis tests your text for comprehensibility.
Links
The link check displays all standard and individual links integrated in the LeadPage and checks them for validity - in other words, whether the target can be reached. Functioning links are marked with a green OK, possible errors are highlighted in red.
The link check checks whether all targets of the links can be reached.
Statistics
In this view, all statistical data of the LeadPage is summarized for an analysis.
In order to understand how frequented the LeadPage is, the data from the statistics will help you.
You can find the following statistical data here.
- Statistics: Here you will find the sum of the openings of the LeadPage and its article landing page as well as the calls of the RSS and podcast version.
- Articles: Shows the number of clicks on the different
areas of the article as well as the frequency of use of cross-media content such as the read-aloud function. - Links: Here the continuative links of the LeadPage and the clicks on them are listed. The clicks on the links are divided into:
- Clicks (unique): Shows how often a link was clicked: 1st value = sum of all clicks, 2. value (in brackets) = clicks from clearly identified users
- Click rate: The percentage of visitors who have clicked on the link at least once.
- Relative click rate: The percentage of visitors who have visited the LeadPage at least once and clicked the link once
- Forms: Shows the number of openings, submissions and any resulting new entries of an integrated form.
- Social: Offers an evaluation of how often articles were shared in social networks and how often they were accessed in social networks.
- Scoring: The diagram shows how often scoring values were entered in one day, looking back over the period of one year. The scoring entries of the created scoring groups can be compared under the corresponding tabs. A list view displays the last 15 profiles that have generated scoring values through the LeadPage, including the scoring value and date of creation.
- Client: Represents the proportion of end devices and browsers with which the lead page was viewed.
- Map: The geographical display shows where the profiles are located on the map. This information is taken from the address data of the profiles, if data is available. If no address data is available, the IP address of the login is used, which was used to enter the profile in a form.
