You would like to expand your newsletter distribution list and gain new e-mail addresses to address more people with your newsletter. The best way to do this is to use a newsletter registration form with the registration procedure Double Opt-In.
Newsletter subscription forms are a special form of web forms. After the registration always follows a confirmation e-mail to the interested party with one of the following confirmation procedures:
Double Opt-In: after filling out the form, the system sends a confirmation e-mail to the e-mail address provided. This contains a link that the subscriber must use to confirm their registration.
Opt-Out: Special case of address confirmation. In this case it is assumed that the e-mail address (customer) already exists in the company, but has not yet been confirmed for the newsletter.
Opt-In: The address data transmitted by the sender with the e-mail address is not confirmed. This means that this address data is immediately released for dispatch by the system - without having to obtain the sender's permission. The single opt-in procedure should therefore only be used if it can be ensured that no violation of applicable law occurs.

Procedure
Create a new form, see also: Web & registration forms
As registration procedure, activate "Enroll for Double Opt-In" in the "Configuration" tab and specify a confirmation email.
Create an email containing the replacement variable {$GRANT_URL}. This variable is automatically filled by the system with the appropriate confirmation link when sent.
Set this e-mail as a confirmation e-mail on the Configuration tab under the Confirmation e-mail item.
The confirmation email must contain the replacement variable {$Grant_URL} to confirm the entry by clicking on it.
Important!
It is important that the registration procedure Double Opt-In is activated in the form, so you can only use the entries for sending after the recipient has clicked on the confirmation link. For legal reasons you should always use the Double Opt-In procedure.
