You can export any list view of profiles - e.g. in a pool, for a target group, in the eMailing statistics - as a file. You will find the corresponding function in the respective list view on the top right. To do so, select the desired format from the drop-down menu and the language in the information window and then click the Export button.
You can use the Export button to export the profiles of a list.
The following formats are possible:
CSV (Comma Separated Values): List as UTF-8 text with separators
Excel (XLS): Microsoft Excel file
Excel (XLS/HTML): HTML file for use in Excel
Excel XLSX: Office 2010 XML format
HTML: HTML table (can also be used directly with Excel or OpenOffice)
XML: Simple XML structure with each profile as node and its attributes as elements in the text
Via the info dialog you can select the fields to be exported manually via Darg and Drop or automatically select the standard fields or all fields.
Select the desired format and language from the drop-down menu, then click on the Export button to start the export. The language refers to the standard fields and contents. Your own fields are not translated here, so there may be some confusion. The best results are usually achieved by using the same language as the pool is created with.
With large amounts of data it can make sense to split the data. In this case, as many files are created and delivered in the export file as necessary so that the set number of profiles per file is not exceeded. For example, lists can be split up into 65k profiles, which in some spreadsheet programs is the maximum number of lines displayed.
An export is always sent to the email address associated with the user account that initiated the export. After a short time the system will send an email to the email address set in the user account with a link to download the export file. This link works for a maximum of 24h and is then automatically deleted by the system. Please note that the export may take some time depending on the selected file format and target group/pool configuration. In general, we recommend using the CSV format in preference to Excel export to avoid long waiting times.
Important
Please note that the export of profiles requires appropriate rights. Furthermore, only one export can be requested from an object at a time. If an export is already in progress, try to start the export again at a later time.
