An automatic hardbounce resetting takes place if a successful delivery has taken place after a hardbounce. Resetting does not take place immediately, but only after a new hard bounce has occurred. In this case the hardbounce counter is not increased, but reset to 1, which corresponds to the current hardbounce status.
If a profile has been loaded three times without success, it is marked as faulty and will not be loaded in the future. These profiles can usually be deleted from the pool.
The following logic is used here:
Profiles that generated a hard bounce 2 days ago.
AND
Successful delivery of the last shipment within the last 6 months.
THEN
Reset hardbounce counter to 1.
This means that the counter is only reset when a hard bounce has been generated again and a delivery has been successful in the meantime.
