There are several ways to load images into the system. One way is to click on the desktop within the icon-based quick access to the + of the icon images.
With a click on + next to the icon Pictures, pictures can be uploaded into the system.
Or click on the folder Images in the folder navigation and on the button + New/Image in the appearing list view.
An image can be created in the Images folder by clicking on + New/Image.
An input mask opens. Enter an internal name for the image and select the image source, either locally from your computer or from the Web with a URL.
By clicking on Save, the image will be stored in the system and you will get a preview of the image. If you click on Cancel, you return to the list view.
AI functions in the image object
Generate description from an image
If you want to automatically generate an image description from an image, you can do this by clicking on the "Generate description" button. The generated description then appears in the "Description" field.
Generate image from a description
Conversely, you can also generate a new image from the description of an image. To do this, enter the description of the image to be generated, save the image so that the description is adopted and click on the "Generate new image" button.
This creates a new image (with the addition (Neu)) in the folder of the original image, which contains the generated image.
An AI-generated image description can be created under the Image tab and an AI-generated image can be created from an image description.
Upload images via drag-and-drop
You can also load images into the system using drag and drop. If you drag an image file to the list view of the desired folder, the image is automatically saved in the respective folder.
Images can also be uploaded simply by drag and drop into the respective folder.
Please note!
The following formats can be used: .jpg, .png and .gif
The maximum image size is 1 MB.
Only upload images into the system in the size in which the images will be used in a mailing or on a web page.
Image editing
To edit an image, click on the Edit tab in the navigation. On the left, you will find the editing options by means of Enter. Here you can enter a value and thus, for example, change the size or crop the image. On the right side of the screen you can make changes by using the eight small squares with the mouse. Press one of the squares with the left mouse button and keep the button pressed. Now drag it to the desired position and release. The area of the image with a whitish shadow will be "cut off" when you save. In addition, you can change the size of the image by percentage, rotate the image or change the file type. Changes to the image files cannot be undone after saving.
If you click Change and Apply under the Edit tab, the image is saved in the specified size.
Image Integration
To integrate the image in an article template or in a template, you can generate a dynamic or static URL under the navigation tab "Integration". You can set various parameters, for example, to scale or crop the image. It is also possible to round off the corners or to display the image in grayscale. The image is not changed, only the change parameters are added to the image URL. This URL generator is used exclusively to generate customized image URLs for use in e-mail templates.
